About Me

My name is Dylan William Dunne, I am a Biology Major at Towson University, and should everything go according to plan, I will graduate in the spring of 2012 and start grad school to become a Physical Therapist the following fall. My job for the next two years is to be a student of such exceptional calibre that no grad school will want to turn me away but instead will fight to gain my attendance. If school is war, I take no prisoners.

My persona

Posted by Jane Doe on September 25, 2006

I respect craftsmanship and simplicity, I want things to perform their functions well, and without extreme overhead. I don't want a razor with five blades for shaving and an extra one for edging the beard that I don't have, I want a razor with one blade that removes the hair off of my face with extreme prejudice without taking off my skin. Yet at the same time, I enjoy the fact that I carry around with me an iPod Touch, and yes, there really is an app for that. It is a compact device that accomplishes many different things, but can only be used to do one thing at a time, all in a pretty package with a generally slick and intuitive design.

On simplicity

So it is here that I will show some of the things I've done. Be it a small application that I've written, a piece of art that I am proud of, musings on life, pictures of my cat, or progress to my career goal of becoming a physical therapist. If people want to come and check it out, that's cool, if not, that's cool too. If I get hit by that bus, at least there will be a partial record of me somewhere, at least until my webhost turns off the site.
